  • Free up scarce resources in acute care, such as beds in Intensive Care Units (ICUs), for patients who truly need them.
  • Improve the quality of life and quality of care of patients with serious illnesses and their families.

The report is follow up to our Nov 2016 report called How To Improve Palliative Care in Canada. Read MoreThe “How To” document give specific actions that need to be taken. The new economics document shows that strategic investment in palliative care is Win-Win-Win: Better care – Lower costs – Better use of finite resources.

Please join the CSPCP in using the reports to actively advocate for better access to quality palliative care in Canada.
